Are you a basic physician or technical physician with a passion for medical innovation and do you really want to make a difference in patient care? Then Reggeborgh Foundation, Ziekenhuisgroep Twente (ZGT) and Medisch Spectrum Twente (MST) are now offering you the chance of a lifetime! Through the Reggeborgh Research Fellowship, you will have the opportunity to conduct groundbreaking research, develop yourself and collaborate intensively with both medical and business professionals for three years.
Within the Research Fellowship, four challenging positions are available:
- Research Fellow Sleep Medicine: You will develop algorithms to better diagnose and treat sleep apnea. You will use machine learning, signal analysis and 3D printing technology. Your research will directly contribute to the future of personalized patient care in the recognized sleep center of MST.
- Research Fellow Fluorescence Imaging: You will translate quantitative fluorescence angiography into innovative applications in surgical practices. You will work on reliable algorithms to accurately assess tissue perfusion during operations. You will work intensively with specialists from MST and the University of Twente.
- Research Fellow Skin-in-sight: As a PhD basic physician or technical physician/clinical technologist, you will work on AI solutions and eHealth applications to transform care for chronic skin diseases. Your research will take place in an outpatient setting and will directly contribute to the digital transformation of dermatological care.
- Research Fellow Twentse foot: In this role, you will focus on innovative research into foot and ankle problems, with the aim of improving diagnostics and treatment. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of advanced treatment methods within orthopedics and surgery.
All positions combine science, medical technology and entrepreneurship. Reggeborgh Foundation provides a unique network and mentorship from renowned entrepreneurs. In addition to scientific skills, you will also develop an entrepreneurial mindset and will be given a prominent platform to present your vision and results.
What is offered?
- Employment contract at MST or ZGT for 32-36 hours per week
- Salary in FWG 70 (€5,348 - €7,862 gross/month)
- Excellent secondary employment conditions
