About S.V. Paradoks
Study Association Paradoks takes care of the needs of the students who study Biomedical Engineering or Technical Medicine at the University of Twente. From 1978 until 2002 was S.V.B.M.T. Paradoks an Association in the field of study of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Twente. In 2001 the study Biomedical Engineering as a bachelors degree was founded, which resulted in Paradoks continuing in 2002. Technical Medicine joined in 2003 after the foundation of this study.
We’re contributing to the quality of studying as much as we can, both in the area of education as well as with extracurricular activities. Paradoks also offers her students the possibility to come in contact with companies etcetera in the field of our expertise.
A lot of members make this possible by joining a committee of this association. All of these committees within Paradoks facilitate personal growth. Our association has over 1500 members of which around 200 are active.
The center of our association is the Paradoks Room, where the board lives and the members come around each day for coffee, thea, snacks, games, magazines and a lot of ‘gezelligheid’.
