De onderzoeksgroep van optical science (OS) is een van de oudere onderzoeksgroepen aan de UT. Maarrr.. wat doen ze nou eigenlijk in die labaratoria in carré? Tijdens de volgende lunchlezing word dit allemaal toegelicht!

Hieronder geven we al wel wat onderzoeken, om zo een tipje van de sluier op te lichten:
Optical Science houdt zich bezig met alle facetten van licht in de medisch-technische wereld. Hun focus licht op het maken van Spectroscopic & microscopic tools om ziektes te kunnen herkennen. Dat is echter niet hun enige focus! ze werken ook aan alle verschillende manieren waarop straling en materie met elkaar interacties kunnen aangaan!

The research group Optical Science (OS) is one of the older research institutions at the UT, but... what are they actually researching? During the next lunchlecture we will shine a light on OS! 

We will already give you some background information, just to illustrate what new insights you can gain from coming to the lecture. Optical science focusses on all facets of light in the field of technical healthcare. They focus on spectroscopic and microscopic tools for early disease detection. However, they also illuminate different ways in which light and matter can interact!
