Human-Machine Synergy, oftewel de implementatie van robots en technologische apparatuur in de zorg.  
Technologische toepassingen zoals exoskeletten en de Da Vinci-robot worden al jaren in de praktijk gebruikt, maar zijn zeker nog niet uitontwikkeld. Daarnaast worden ook de nieuw opkomende technologieën zoals softrobotics, elektronische hersenimplantaten en ‘gezelligheidsrobots’ steeds vaker ingezet. Al deze toepassingen laten zien hoe belangrijk de samenwerking is tussen mens en machine. 
Met dit symposium willen we laten zien welke mogelijkheden er ontstaan, wanneer zorg en technologie hand in hand gaan.

Human-Machine Synergy, or the implementation of robots and technological equipment in healthcare.
Technological applications such as exoskeletons and the Da Vinci robot have been in practice for years, but are certainly not yet fully developed. In addition, emerging technologies such as soft robotics, electronic brain implants, and "social robots" are also increasingly being deployed. All these applications demonstrate the importance of collaboration between humans and machines.
With this symposium, we aim to demonstrate the possibilities that arise when healthcare and technology come together.
